IBPS Clerk Exam Syllabus And Exam Pattern
IBPS Clerk exam is no different from any other bank exams. While IBPS issues only the broad subjects, they can be further sub-divided into individual topics, based on the questions that have appeared in the exams over the past few years. The IBPS Clerk syllabus has twp papers. There is no interview for the IBPS Clerk Exam.
(i) IBPS Clerk Preliminary Exam Syllabus: This comprises of Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language.
(ii) IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Syllabus: This comprises of Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, and an additional section of Computer Knowledge and General Awareness.
There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for every incorrect answer in each test of IBPS Exam 2020.
IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern For Prelims
The IBPS Prelims Exam is of 100 marks of 1-hour duration with 20 minutes for each section.
The Prelims Stage of IBPS PO will have three sections of a total duration of 1 Hour.
There will be a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions.
Candidates will have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing minimum cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS.
An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern For Mains
The IBPS Clerk Mains Exam has 190 questions that need to be completed in a time frame of 160 minutes.
THe IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will have a total of 190 question with a duration of 160 Minutes.
There will be four sections in the IBPS Clerk Exam for Mains with different sectional timings.
Earlier, the Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability Section used to be conducted separately. But, as per the recent update by IBPS, both these sections have been amalgamated together constituting a total of 50 Marks.
