CBSE Reduced Syllabus 2022 PDF Check Deleted Chapters & Topics: Central Board of Secondary Education has reduced the CBSE Syllabus 2020-21 for Classes 09th to 12th by 30%. HRD Minister announced CBSE Revised syllabus for the new academic year 2021 on 07th July, 2020 which was soon followed by an official notification by CBSE on the same. CBSE has done this due to loss of classroom teaching during COVID-19 pandemic.

CBSE New Syllabus Subject-Wise
The CBSE new syllabus 2021 has been rationalized keeping intact the learning outcomes so that the core concepts of students can be retained. CBSE reduced the syllabus of classes 9 to 12 with the help of suggestions from NCERT.
CBSE stated in its notification that the deleted chapters/topics from the CBSE syllabus should not be considered for internal assessments or for the year-end board exams. However, teachers should ensure that the deleted portions are explained to the students so that they can use it to connect to other topics, the notification said.
