National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently announced an official notification on its official website related to CSIR UGC NET 2019 Online Form for December 2019 and June 2020 Sessions. CSIR-UGC NET Examination for December 2019 Session will organize on 15th December 2019 whereas CSIR-UGC NET June 2020 Session Exam will be held on 21st June 2020. CSIR UGC NET Eligibility Criteria 2019

Applicants satisfying the following conditions are allowed to fill CSIR NET 2019 Application Form:

The upper age limit for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) must be 28 years.

No upper age limit for Lectureship.

Relaxation will be provided as rules and regulation of government.

Candidates should have completed BS-four year’s program that is B.Pharm, B.E, B. Tech, MSc, MBBS, Integrated BS-MS or any other science degree with at least 55% marks for general category and 50% marks for reserved category.

Those who have completed/studying M.Sc and have completed their graduation (10+2+3) are also eligible.

B.Sc. or integrated MS-PhD program and have secured at least 55% marks are also eligible.

Bachelor degree from any science stream or engineering can also get the fellowship but only after being registered to PhD or PhD integrated program.

Concession of 5% marks will be permitted to reserved category candidates.

Candidates, who have completed their Ph.D. prior 19 September 1992, are also eligible to apply for CSIR UGC National Eligibility Exam 2019.


The candidates selected for the JRF post through CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) will be offered Rs.25, 000/ p.m. for the first two years. Along with this, annual contingency grant of Rs.20000/- per fellow will be provided to the University / Institution.

A single paper MCQ based test will be held.

The Test Booklet will be printed in Hindi & English Version.

  • Also, upload required documents along with CSIR UGC Application Form as need arises.
  • After filling the online application, two options will appear at the bottom of the page, “Save and Preview” and “Reset”.
