DU Admission 2023 For UG PG Courses

The official notification for DU Admission 2023 into UG PG courses will available in the month of May 2023. The last date to submit the Delhi University Admission Forms is 20th July 2023.  The CUET 2023 dates have been declared at DU’s official website, www.admission.uod.ac.in. Candidates must have completed Class 10+2 grade level/diploma or Bachelor’s degree from a recognized educational board or university with a minimum of 45-50% aggregate marks to meet the basic Qualification and Eligibility standards for enrollment in the University’s several programs. DU Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Courses Admission Criteria
BA courses Candidates have to appear in the entrance test in any one language from section one and in any three subjects from the other section
BSc courses Merit will be calculated on the basis of CUET scores in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology
Linguistic courses Candidates can take a test in one language or can choose a particular language.
BCom, BVoc, BA Pass Candidates have the choice of a language along with one domain specific subject and a general examination or a three-subject test.
BBA, BBE, BMS One language test, Mathematics and general test
BA Economics Hons Candidates have to necessarily appear for the Mathematics test. Merit will be calculated on the basis of score in 1 language test, Mathematics and two domain tests.

Delhi University CSAS Eligibility Criteria

Course Eligibility Requirement
BA. (Hons.) English ·         An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

·         The merit shall be determined on the basis of one language and three best academic/elective subjects.

·         The applicant must have studied and passed English in the qualifying exam and should include English for calculation of ‘Best Four’ percentage.

B.A. (Hons.) Hindi ·         An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

·         Applicants securing 40% marks in the aggregate and 50% marks in the subject concerned are also eligible for admission to the relevant Honours Course.

·         The merit shall be determined on the basis of one language and three best academic/elective subjects. The applicant must have studied and passed Hindi in the qualifying exam and should include Hindi for calculation of ‘Best Four’ percentage.

·         Applicants who have passed the intermediate Examination of an Indian University/Board with at least 40% marks in the aggregate and also “Prabhakar in Hindi” shall be eligible for admission.

B.A. (Hons.) Economics ·         An aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

·         The merit shall be determined on the basis of one language and three best academic/elective subjects.

·         The applicants must have studied and passed Mathematics at the qualifying exam for admission to B.A. (Honours) in Economics.

DU 2023 Eligibility Criteria (Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies)

B.Com (Hons.) ·         45% aggregate marks in the qualifying exam

·         Must have studied/passed Mathematics/Business Mathematics in the qualifying exam for admission to B. Com. (Hons.).

·         Selection shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination including one language and three best subjects as per the following:

1.      45% aggregate or more in English/Hindi and combination of best three

among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies/ Commerce.

·         Inclusion of any subject from List B other than mentioned above in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 1% per subject on the aggregate.

·         Inclusion of any subject other than those in Lists A and B in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 2.5% per subject on the aggregate of the Best Four.

B.Com ·         An aggregate of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.

·         Selection shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination including one language and three best subjects as per the following:

1.      An aggregate of 40% or more in English/Hindi and a combination of the best three among the following subjects: Mathematics, Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies/Commerce.

2.      Inclusion of any subject from List B other than mentioned above in the combination of best three will lead to a deduction of 1% per subject on the aggregate.

DU Eligibility Criteria 2023 (Faculty of Mathematical Sciences)

B.Sc. (Hons.) Computer Science ·         Mathematics, one language and two other subjects listed as academic subjects Should have secured

a) 60% or more marks in Mathematics

b) 60% or more marks in aggregate of four subjects including Mathematics, one language and two other subjects listed as Academic Subjects.

·         The admission would be based on the aggregate of marks scored in class XII in best four academic subjects inclusive of one language, Mathematics and two out of Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science/ Informatics Practices.

·         The students from other streams, (with Mathematics in Class XII), will have a disadvantage of 2% in aggregate of required four subjects, i.e. Mathematics + one language + two academic subjects from those streams.

B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics / Statistics ·         50% marks in Mathematics and an aggregate of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.

  • Candidates have to click on link “New Registration”.
