Ministry of Labour & Employment India has started a new scheme named as E Shram Scheme for providing financial help to unemployed laborers in India. With the help of this e-shram portal, Central Government will collect the data of all laborers. Through this e-shram scheme, Govt. of India collect data at the central level with the objective of giving direct benefit to the workers.

According to the latest stats by the Ministry of Labour & Employment, around 38 crore laborers who are working in the unorganized sectors will be able to get e shram card. After making the successful registration for e shram yojana, a 12 digital Universal account number will be issued to the laborers. After making registration for the very first time, beneficiaries will not have to make the registration repeatedly.

E Shram Portal Kya Hai

केंद्र सरकार के श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय (Ministry of Labor and Employment) द्वारा ई-श्रम पोर्टल को 26 अगस्त 2021 को लांच किया गया है | इस पोर्टल की सहायता से भारत के लगभग 35 करोड़ से अधिक मजदूरों का डाटा तैयार किया जाएगा| जिसमें घरेलू कामगारों, श्रमिकों, फुटपाथ पर रेहड़ी पटरी लगानें वाले आदि शामिल होंगे| इस पोर्टल श्रमिकों से सम्बंधित पूरी जानकारी जैसे- श्रमिक का नाम, आवास, शैक्षणिक योग्यता, पारिवारिक जानकारी, कौशल का प्रकार आदि जानकारी अंकित की जाएगी |

ई-श्रम पोर्टल पर पंजीकृत मजदूरों को एक 12 अंकों का यूएएन नंबर दिया जायेगा, जो पूरे देश में मान्य होगा | इस कार्ड में असंगठित क्षेत्र में कार्य करने वाले मजदूरों से सम्बंधित पूरा डाटा होगा | जिसके माध्यम से सरकार को श्रमिकों के कौशल, शिक्षा की जानकारी प्राप्त होगी | जिसके आधार पर सरकार इन श्रमिकों के लिए विभिन्न प्रकार की योजनाए लांच कर उन्हें लाभ पहुचाया जायेगा |

E Shram Portal Objective

The main objective of launching the e-shram portal by the government is to create a centralized database of all unorganized sector workers like domestic workers, platform workers, migrant workers, street vendors, etc. With the help of this card, it will also help in providing employment to the workers according to their skills.

The e-shram portal has also been launched with an aim to improve the implementation of social security schemes. The government has set a target of registering 38 crore unorganized sector workers in the unorganized sector of the country through this portal.

E Shramik Card Important Points

The work of making e-shramik cards for the workers of the unorganized sector is going on continuously since 26 August 2021.
Through this card, you will be able to get the benefits of various types of government schemes.
With the help of this card, the data of the workers of the country will be easily collected with the government.
No fee of any kind will have to be paid by the workers to get this card made.
Through this labor card, accident insurance cover of 2 lakh will be given to the cardholder under PM Suraksha Bima Yojana.
On the basis of the data received through this scheme, various types of schemes will be operated by the government.

First of all click on the official site link above

Then go to the home page and click on the e-shram card option shown in the below image.

A new window opens and enters required details mobile no, captcha code, epfo, esic, details and click on send OTP option.

Enter OTP and then click on submit button.

After that, now enter your Aadhaar no. and submit

On the next page, you will see two options UPDATE PROFILE and DOWNLOAD UAN CARD. To download the e-shram card, click on the option of the UAN card.

Now e-shram card will be shown in front of you and a download UAN card will be seen written. You have to click on this option.

In this way, you can get your e-shram card online in a PDF file within minutes sitting at home.
