IIT JAM 2022: Eligibility Criteria
Both Indian and Foreign Candidates can apply.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree.
The General/OBC-NCL Category candidates, have to get at least 55% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree, without rounding off (50% aggregate for candidates who belong to the SC/ST and PWD Category Candidates).
Candidates appearing in the final examination of their qualifying degree are also eligible for this entrance exam.

IIT JAM 2022 Application fee
For General or OBC category – Rs. 1500/-.
For SC or ST or PWD (male) and Female – Rs. 750/-
For both papers and belong to General or OBC category then you need to pay the payment of Rs. 2100/- and all the candidates from SC or ST or PWD and Female need to pay Rs. 1050/-

IIT JAM Exam Pattern
The paper pattern will be different as per the courses opted by the students.
The Exam Mode will be Online i.e. computer-based mode
A total of seven papers will be organized for the JAM exam.
The duration of the exam will be Three hours
The exam will be in English only
A total of 60 questions will be asked in the examination.
The question paper will be of 100 marks.
There will be negative marking only in Section A.

IIT JAM Counselling Schedule
IIT JAM counseling schedule will be organized after the result announcement of the IIT JAM examination. The candidate who falls in the category of merit list will be only applicable to participate in the counselling session of IIT JAM 2022. The counselling session will be conducted within the second or third week of April 2022

Geology (GG): Applied Geology, Economic Geology, Petrology, Mineralogy, Stratigraphy, Palaeontology, Structural Geology, Geomorphology, The Planet Earth
Biological Sciences (BL): Mathematical Sciences, General Biology, Microbiology, Cell Biology and Immunology, Basics of Biochemistry, Biophysics, Molecular Biology
