General Intelligence and Reasoning: एसएससी स्टेनोग्राफर ग्रेड–डी सिलेबस
इस सेक्शन के तहत भाषिक और अभाषिक दोनों तरह के प्रश्न पूछे जाएंगे।
SSC Stenographer Syllabus will include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type.
Topics covered in SSC Stenographer Recruitment Syllabus: The test will include questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts
SSC Stenographer Grade D Syllabus: Arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc.
Topics covered in Syllabus of SSC Stenographer: The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.
General Awareness: SSC Stenographer Syllabus
Questions given in SSC Stenographer Grade C Syllabus will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society.
Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person.
Topics covered in SSC Stenograph Syllabus: The test will also include questions relating to India and its Neighboring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc.

English Language & Comprehension: SSC Stenographer Exam Syllabus
Topics covered in Staff Selection Commission Stenographer Syllabus: In addition to the testing of candidates’ understanding of the English, its vocabulary, Grammar, sentence structure, Synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc his/her writing ability, would also be tested.
SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern
Applying candidates are notified that the questions will be asked in the SSC Stenographer Exam from the subjects namely General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness and English Language & comprehension or Hindi.
The exam will be organized for total 100 marks.
The question except Part-III will be set in Hindi and English.
Each question carries 1 mark.
Applicants have to solve the question paper within 02 hours.
For each wrong response 0.25 marks will be deducted.

SSC Stenographer Skill Test Syllabus
Candidates who will obtain minimum qualifying marks in Computer Based Exam they will be called for Skill Test.
The skill test is qualifying in nature thus the marks of this test will not be considered in the final merit list.
Applicants have to type one dictation in 10 minutes in English/ Hindi with the speed of 100 w.p.m for the post of Stenographer ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m for the post of Stenographer ‘D’.
Candidates who belong to the VH category will be required to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes for English Shorthand or in 100 minutes for Hindi for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’ and 70 minutes for English Shorthand or in 90 minutes for Hindi Shorthand Test for the post of Stenographer ‘C’.

Candidates, who will qualify for the SSC Stenographer’s written examination which is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission, will only be called for Skill Test.
SSC Stenographer Selection Procedure:
Applying candidates have to go through the all stages such as written exam, skill test and interview. First of all, candidates have to qualify the Computer Based Test. After that, qualified candidates have to appear in Skill Test. Applicants are also notified that the skill test is qualifying in nature so the marks of it will not be added in final merit list. Then, only short listed aspirants will be called for Interview. At end, on the basis of applicant’s performance in all stages final SSC Stenographer Result will be declared by the commission.
