Sardar Patel Award for National Integration

Memorial coin in Vajpayee’s memory

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release a memorial coin of Rs 100 in memory of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on the eve of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
  • Mr. Vajpayee was born on December 25, 1924.
  • This coin weighs 35 gm and radius 2.2 cms.

Successful test of ballistic missile fire-4

China launches first satellite launch to provide space-based broadband

  • China launched its first communication satellite from the Long March 11 carrier rocket so that broadband Internet services could be provided to Google and other firms around the world.
  • This is the first communication satellite in the Hong Kong project, planned by China Aerospace Science and Industry Corp.
