Prerana Scholarship Scheme:
In order to provide financial assistance to those candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC students of Orissa, Odisha Government has launched Prerana Scholarship 2018-19 Odisha for qualified students. The Prerana Odisha Scholarship 2022 is provided to candidates who are pursuing their post-matriculation studies in any general/ technical or professional course from any government-recognized institution in Orissa.
Prerana Post Matric Scholarship Scheme Eligibility Criteria:
ST/SC/OBC/SEBC/EBC (Economically Backward Class) students should be a permanent residents of Odisha. The annual family income of the parent/guardians from all sources of those ST/SC students should not exceed Rs.2,50,000/- per annum.
The annual family income of the parent/guardians from all sources in case of OBC/SEBC students should not exceed Rs.1,00,000/- per annum and they have to secure at least 50% marks in previous examination.
He/she should have to continue his/her higher study in Government institute only. This scheme for EBC is applicable only for GENERAL Category (Other than SC/ST/OBC/SEBC).
Eligibility Criteria for sanction of Assistance under Financial Assistance Scheme to ST students:
He/She should be ST Category Student
- The annual family income of the parent/guardians from all sources of those ST students should not exceed Rs.2,50,000/- per annum
- He/She should be permanent resident of Odisha.
- Students who have applied for Post Matric Scholarship under Financial Assistance Scheme, in first instance they will be sanctioned under Post Matric Scholarship Scheme and the excess amount not admissible under Post Matric Scholarship scheme will be sanctioned out of Financial Assistance Scheme.

To apply for Post Matric Scholarship Odisha, candidates first go to the official site of the organization that is mpsc.mp.nic.in/scholarships/Default.aspx#
- On the home page of the official site, you need to hit on a suitable link given on the left side of the page.
- After reading relevant details carefully and correctly if you fulfill the required eligibility norms then you have to proceed with further process.
- Choose appropriate link related to online application form “Registered Student’s Login” and “Students Search” link
- After that fill out the form with all necessary details in an appropriate manner
- Upload your scanned photo and signature and documents along with the application if required.
- Check the form at once and press the “Submit” button.
- Take the print out of Prerana Scholarship Application Form and keep it safe for further use.
Documents Required along with Prerana Scholarship Form:
All the candidates who are going to apply should keep the scan copy of the following documents at the time of online application. He/she has to submit the documents to the college along with the application form as mentioned below.
- HSC 10th Pass Certificate & Mark Sheet.
